Qualified instructional and on-the-job training is available for all positions. Each position has a commitment of one year, after which you are free to choose another position or renew your commitment. Contact the church office for more information
First Impressions Team
Greeter – Welcoming people, handing a bulletin to attendees and answering basic questions about the church.
Time Commitment: Maximum two Sundays per month (3 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: None. Friendliness and a welcoming heart desired
Roaming Greeter – Roam around the sanctuary intentionally looking for newcomers, first-time visitors, or people sitting by themselves. Inspire an immediate point of connection and inclusion, attempts to introduce people to community groups or involvement at the church.
Time Commitment: Maximum two Sundays per month (3 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year

Welcome Center Host – Answering questions about the church, helping visitors, handing out visitor packets
Time Commitment: Maximum two Sundays per month (3 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: A good knowledge of the church and its ministries. Friendliness and a welcoming heart desired
Café Host – Prepare coffee, snacks and set up the counter. Assure that the coffee area is clean and there is plenty of coffee, snacks and condiments.
Time Commitment: Maximum two Sundays per month (3 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: None. Friendliness and a hospitable heart desired. We’ll train you on the coffee machine.
Usher – Direct people to seats, pull out chairs and place them for latecomers, collect the offering.

Parking volunteer (outdoor): Assist those driving in the parking lot to park in the most efficient manner. Have an umbrella on the sidewalk to accompany people if the weather is bad.

Media Team
Assistant Sound Technician – Assist sound technician in maintaining sound levels of musicians, singers and speakers. Set up mics and other equipment as needed.
Time Commitment: Maximum two Sundays per month (6 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: None. We will train you on the equipment
Presentation technician – set up and run the presentation software for services and other events.
Time Commitment: Maximum two Sundays per month (6 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: None. We will train you on the equipment
Video Production – Assure all cameras are functioning. During live streaming change between angles and check outgoing signal. Set LED lights for the service.

Webcast Host – (Can be done remotely) – welcome and maintain the live stream communication with viewers. Social media experience is very useful for this role.

Camera – Set the right angles and zoom as needed prior and during the service.

Worship Team
Musicians – Practice at home with provided materials, practice Sunday early morning for worship, and play during service.
Singers – Practice at home with provided materials, practice Sunday early morning for worship, and sing during service.
Counting Team
Counter – Retrieve funds from envelopes, calculate amounts, input data into the computer.
Time Commitment: Maximum two Sundays per month (3 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: Financial experience preferrable but not necessary
Security Team
Church security – Check entrances, rooms and hallways before and after services. During service monitor entrances and watch for suspicious behaviors.
Time Commitment: Maximum two Sundays per month (6 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: Extensive training is offered including attack simulation and security awareness training.
Ministry Team
Small-Group Facilitator – Lead a small group through the provided passage and discussion questions. Schedule times and work with the host to provide a welcoming and comfortable experience.
Time Commitment: Weekly or biweekly meetings (4-8 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: Looking for people who are ready to lead by example
Small Group Host – provide a space to meet, organize snack schedule, work with facilitator to provide a welcoming and comfortable experience.
Time Commitment: Weekly or biweekly meetings (4-8 hours per month)

Bible Study Leader – Prepare lessons and teach a weekly class in a familiar or interesting subject. Contact students and participants and maintain a prayer list for the class.

Card Ministry Writer – Write cards and notes to those who have visited, are ill, long-time absent, birthdays and anniversaries.
Time Commitment: Work at your own pace

Visitor gift delivery – Deliver a gift to church visitors’ home, welcoming them into our family.
Time Commitment: As needed: pickup the gift and address at the church for delivery
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: Driving, friendliness and welcoming heart.
Shut-in ministry member – visit and minister to those who are a part of our congregation who are not able to attend our services.
Time Commitment: visit at your own pace
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: None, just be yourself
Church Bus ministry – Driving the church bus for church events, ministries and other outings. When needed, pick up children, teens and adults without transportation.
Time Commitment: As needed
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: Driver’s license between 25-70 years old.
Decoration Ministry – Participate in the church’s decoration team for special events, holidays and overall interior appearance.
Time Commitment: As needed
Length of Commitment: one year

Children Ministry Team (requires a background check and further training)
Check-In Greeter – Greet new families and check-in kids for children’s ministry. Arrive early, check-in kids for the first ½ hour of each hour (9:30/11), then maintain children’s area secure.
Time Commitment: Minimum two Sundays per month (2 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: Only a smiling face and an ability to type on a computer.
Nursery Volunteer – Care for our precious little ones in Northwest Nursery during our weekend services. Great way to get to know and minister to others at our church! 9am – 12:30pm Sundays
Time Commitment: Two services per month (4-5 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: Only love, patience, and a desire to play! All other training is provided.
Administrative Office Assistant – Come at a designated time during the week or weekend to assist with a variety of office duties such as teacher prep, copying, data entry, and a variety of administrative projects.
Time Commitment: Minimum 2 hours per week
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: None. Helps if comfortable with computers. Training provided.
Sunday School Teacher (Pre-K & Elementary) – Work with our children and lead a Bible story, games, and activities. All materials and assistance provided. Sun., 9:15am-10:45am
Time Commitment: Two Sundays per month (3 hours per month)
Length of Commitment: one year
Experience Required: Looking for people who are high-energy and ready to lead by example.
Sunday School Helper (Pre-K & Elementary) – Assist Sunday school teacher in-class materials, bathroom trips, help with crafts, snacks & activities.
Time Commitment: Minimum two Sundays per month (3 hours per month)
